Default Thoughts on the OEM Titanium Shift knob?

I'm going to be buying my S in the next few months and I was wondering if the titanium shift knob is worth upgrading to. There are probably better aftermarket knobs for the money, but what if I could get them to throw in the OEM titanium one for free as a deal clincher? Is the knob even worth haggling for? It certainly looks nice.

If it's free, get it. If not, get an Alex Ti knob.

I prefer the TeamVoodoo, but I think shift knobs are one of the most subjective 'mods' you can do.

I have one and its fits my hand perfect. I Also like its weight as it makes
the shifts a little crisper. Well worth the money imho. But hey if you get it
free......there's nothing better than free.

even if you hate it, you could get $100 for it.

I have one and love it. But, if you're going to go thru the trouble of haggling, why not try to get $500 off? Then you can check one out later and buy it if you like it.

Voodoo "Bob Krueger" would be happy to here you say that! I could tell you a long story of how the S2000 Voodoo knob came to be.....lots & lots of beer and a late night phone call. The Voodoo knob is awesome and IS the original Ti knob for the Honda. I have to laugh...are you sh*** me? Honda is offering this as an option?

So Shidei-san....I know you are still here. How do you explain this one? I thought the thievery ended when Honda stole Richard Mings dead pedal...........

Utah

PS. You are really thinking of the knob as a deal clincher? It's 100 bucks! Go for the jugular. Insist on your finance rate being dropped 1/4th of a point. You can thank me for the next 5 years.

P.S.S. Shidei-san.............?

The OEM shift knob on the 00/01 years are the best. Get the one without the leather wrapping. The solid brushed metal look is hot, and is a great shift knob.
