Default Thoughts on tapping sound?

1999 s2000

Gets quieter when warm but taps faster with rev. Sounds like from the rear of the engine. Toda TCT was installed 4ish years ago . It’s got 120k miles and has some ap2 internal upgrades like retainers and oilers done by previous owner. Valve adjustment already done aswell.

Sounds normal to me. These engine idle noises have more normal mechanical noise than many newer cars.

Sounds like mine, which has sounded the same for the 65,000 miles I have owned it (bought it with 103,000). Track use and all. So ... sounds like an S2000 to me!
