ti shift knob question

Default ti shift knob question

i have an 01 s2k and i have a shift knob that looks like the ti one. how can i tell the difference. i searched but did not find an answer

Check the weight.

Unless you tell him how much it's supposed to weigh, how will he know?
So he goes and weighs it and it comes out xxx grams. Now what? I don't know what a TI OEM shift knob weighs. If you do, maybe you should tell him.

The other way is to get a known OEM shiftknob and have it side by side with yours. If you know the other one is aluminum, then you will see a difference in color and luster if you have a Ti. Of course you can then compare the weights.

if it's shaped like the OEM Ti knob but it's polished, it's fake titanium

saw alot of them on ebay
