I have a brand new 03 S2K and i have noticed a tick or click sound coming from the car. Its from the outside and it sounds like the metal expanding or contracting due to the cold weather. Its not a constant sound...maybe 2 or times every few minutes. It continues to make the sound even after the car is off. Im pretty sure its just from the cold but I want to make sure. Any input would be appreciated.

It is the exhaust expansion and contraction sounds.

 

Same thing happens with my 02 in cold weather, it does appear it's the cat converter/exhaust making that ticking noise.
