Luckly here in N.C. we don't have to have a front plate. However the laws the law, and you can't fight it. This is especially sad since the Front plate does not look great on an S2000

Fighting spirit??? It's back here somewhere. If you're prepared to spend an entire day going from room to room, line to line, searching for the one person who has the slightest idea of where you should be then you're golden.

Remember that you do not have a hearing in front of a judge. You get to explain your case to some moron who is watching the imaginary little birdies and Twinkerbell float above his heard rather than actually listening to your well thought out defense.

Remember that for years the city's largest single source of revenue has been parking enforcement. Only recently has tourism started to bring some additional tax dollars in.

Some years ago I received a ticket right near the Uptown Theater for having a 1-month-expired MD registration sticker. Like you I was determined to beat it. I'll say it again, trust me on this one. At best you'll have $5 knocked off for your time (minimum of) 8 hrs. time. Most likely you'll have to spend more than one day down there like I did and many others have.
