I dunno if i'm paranoid or something.... i'm very prone to noticing sounds from my cars. I noticed this ticking while driving coming from the Driver side speaker \ floor panel area, the ticking rate increases as the engine revs higher.... it's kinda faint but I can definitley hear it. Has anyone ran into this? or is this normal? it sorta sounds like the valvetrain but... I dont think I should be hearing my valvetrain in the cabin... should I? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

 

Does it increase with engine revs (as you state) or with increased road speed? I found a nail in my tire once and the nailhead made a ticking sound everytime it made contact with the road. Worth a look.
