You barely see it because not many people have that many miles!

see, if you change the fluids and don't abuse things, they last for ever.

my 94 lude that i can't bring myself to sell is comiing up on 320,000. over 100k of which is me, and as far as i know its the original motor. they just keep on going.

ps, i'll post a thread in car talk if i ever make it to 333,333. but seeing as how it doesn't get driven as much as it used to, that could be a year or two atleast.

Congrats from the other side of the atlantic

Our engines in the UK dont last anything like that, ours tend to pop between 90k and 110k on average, but I think I know why.

Ive just come back from a holiday (vacation ) to Orlando in Florida, and I was amazed how straight and long your roads are with no round abouts or twisty roads in sight. Over here we have twisty roads every where apart from the motorways (highways) , the the temptation for high reving, hard cornering is just too great, hence why our engines dont last too long.

Mines currentley on 78k on a 1999 AP1 so hopefully I have a few miles left

Heres to 300k
