Time for new tires
Hm..from personal experience I've never ever had a bad experience with my S02's..even though i only drove on them for maybe a 1000 KM's or so..BUT i did have them on my old car and they were excellent tires..even in the rain..never had any problems with them whatsoever..i dunno..maybe it's just the way the s2k's are built..anyways, at least honda didn't stick cheapo re92's on our cars..i'm kinda happy our cars come with s02's...
If you seen the news lately you'll know that over here ( England) we've had quite a lot of rain. The Oems have never given me any cause for concern and it seems pointless
for a company to spend all that time and money to get an ideal setup on the S02's and then for us to change to an unknown setup.
Just follow the guideance given elsewhere and remember that safe driving in the rain, in a rwd car, is all about smoothness.

I never had problems with the OEM SO2s in the rain. In fact they're pretty good until about 8000 miles. After 8K the dry handling was fine but the car began to hydroplane at any speed above 50 mph. The stock tires continued to give good service until 12K when the dry traction went away. I'll likely return to the SO2 when better weather returns. For now I'm happy with the Yokahamas while it's cold and wet.
