Default tims eyelid installation question

Hey guys, i have been trying to install these eyelids for like 3 days by now and I wasted lik $10 qorth of double sided tape still cant get it to hold on both sides. If the left side holds then the right side gives and has this 1/10th of an inch gap between the the lid and the headlight which bugs me alot. Any tips about this?

I will install mine tomorow!...

But I believe it comes with it's own double side tape (or maybe it is for the front lip) .. But Maybe your headlight is to slippery, !! Waxed!!.. Try to make it squeeky,,, no wax on the headlight.. and clean both surfaces with some kind of colone!!!!!..

I will install mine tommorrow.. I hope it would keep up with the light heat .

Don't know what to tell you. Mine stuck perfectly first try. Is there something greasy on your headlights that might be keeping the tape from sticking? Try cleaning them really well with windex or just some soapy water.

Please make sure that you clean the headlight really well, no grease or residue. Also it might be good to clean the eyelids (bottom sticking part) sometimes there might be some duct from sanding. I did not clean the eyelids before shipping

pm me if you need any other help

oh forgot to mention make sure the tape is a little hot (use hair dryer or heat gun) this helps the tape stick better at the first shot.

DO NOT INSTALL IN THE COLD!
