Tint picture
I've had my windows tinted for a while and finally got one for the plastic rear. Its a static cling piece that can be removed when washing and then put back, so I was told.

I think it looks fine with the top down but this is the only picture I have at the moment. I'm not sure what percentage it is but they said it was a tad dark as far as "legal".
I got the tint from SolarVision north of Atlanta. I had them make a pattern in case anyone else wanted one. They also tinted the front window with some metal tint, also a no no. If I get stopped, "It was like that when I bought the car officer"

Mike at SolarVision (770)529-0970, put it on the outside with soapy water. I asked him if it would blow off and he said no because the suds helped stick it to the window and would hold on fine. When ever I take it off Mike said use soapy water again and squeegee out the water and that it would eventually lose its ability to cling if I was always taking it off and on.
It was put on the outside due to the way the top folded, or maybe because it would have been a pain to install on the inside. I also have to let it dry for a few days before folding the top. At least I know my window won't be getting scratched on the outside

Its supposed to stay on when you put the top down, but they told me to wait a few days to let the water dry underneith. I guess I'll have to keep an eye on how it weathers the "ups and downs" of roadster life. The product was designed with convertibles in mind so I'm expecting it will last long enough, maybe it will help the plastic window last longer before turning brown
