Tint picture
Do you have a breakdown on the cost for that rear window? I'm assuming they would have that stuff in clear as well if we didn't want the tint but just wanted to save the rear window from scratches. I wonder if it would somehow damage the rear window in time. If it was "static" I don't understand why you use soapy water to stick it on. Hmmm.
I've had the static tint for 3 months. It works great and no problems with scratching from the well, however, twice it shrank from excessive heat thus causing it to fall off.
Its a pain in the a$$ to reinstall!!!

I do it in three situations
1. I need to speak with the person sitting next to me.
2. It is cold and I want to use the heater
3. It is hot and I want to use the A/C.
So there!

It isn't nearly as bad as the people with convertible Mustangs and Sebrings that have their driver and passenger windows down, but the rear windows up. Now that looks really silly!

#3: I was actually very surprised when I tried this on I-95 at 80mph. Top down, windows up, AC on high. The only way to survive a Florida summer.
