Default Tinted head/tail lights?

I was thinking of tinting the head lights and tail lights on my AP1 Berlina, but I have a lot of questions and concerns. I hope you guys can help me out and give me some guidance.

Firstly does anyone know if this is illegal in Florida or not?

Secondly can anyone tell me if this is safe? My biggest hold up with this is that I'm afraid not enough light will shine through causing this to be unsafe.
Does anyone have pictures of how much light shines out? And also pictures in the day so I can see how dark the tint is?

Next, can I get a shop to do this? If so how much will it cost?
If not what would be the best way about going about doing this on my own? Do those precut pieces on eBay work well?

Lastly, for the headlights does it look bad if the orange diffusers are left in or does the tint pretty much get rid of the orange?

Any other related information will also be appreciated.

Thanks,
-TerminatioN

My friend got a ticket for tinting his tailights on his M3 here in S.FLA. Just sayin'

I wouldn't do it, you are asking to get pulled over by a cop. Maybe some cops don't care, but you never know when you might run into one who hates them.

I love the way it looks with the tint btw.

South Florida is different. They are extremely stricter than everywhere else (mostly because of all the drug trafficing).

I think its fugly
but its your car

As far as being legal who cares. Testpipes are illegal but I think half of the people on here have one

you're probably right concerning safety, that's probably why they are not tinted by honda. if you do tint them, i'd do it extremely subtle, not over the top dark...

Already planning on it. It'll be done before the head/tail lights for sure.

Rims = gloss black SSR GT1s
Window Tint = probably around 20-25%.

Anyways, guy I'm looking for an answer to my questions in my original post rather than if it looks good or not.
