Default tinting windows by myself!

i really really want to tint the windows, but
i refuse to spend $200 + on it.
so, i'm going to do it myself!

i bought semi- permanent kit for $30, so it's not
that risky-
i'm gonna do it tonight, so wish me luck...

$200? I just got the sides tinted for $60. Are you doing the windshield and the plastic rear too? Just curious...

boy, for $200, you are really getting ripped off. I got my Maxima tinited for $175, and that was the best life time tint at the shop.

For the S2K, with only two windows, should be a lot less.

Also, those self tint things never work... you will have bubbles in a short time and it will turn purple if it's dye based.

I FAILED MISERABLY!!!

even with demonderrick's much help,
i have failed my mission... (sob)

i messed up the first right window, so i decided
it was a "practice piece", and rolled out the next
sheet, and WTF!!! there's was only about 5 inches
of film left!!!

total waste of $20!!!

i learned my lesson today. i'm gonna have the pros
do it for $60 as demonderrick told me.

Actually, we have failed to tint the window ourself.. so.. we are gonna tint it some where around here in RI.... Seung, hopefully you are not gonna be sad for it... I will ask them for the lower price... to see if they are ok with it (hopefully at least 5 bucks less than original price)... SINCE...we have 3 cars to tint the window now..!!
