which tire?

Right now I have on my car Bridgestone Potenza they came with the car of course. Probably in few months I have to change them and put four new tires.
Which one you suggest me? the same or other one.
I live in Rome, so nice weather non rain no snow.

Yokohama AVSi, in the stock size that'll set you back a meager $306.00 for all four (plus shipping) from the Tire Rack.

They may be "cheap" but the grip like a very grippy thing indeed! Unfortunatly they have a pretty low treadwear rating. So you'll eat them up in a hurry (if used properly!). But at such a great price....buy two sets!

Before anyone can give you suggestions other than what THEY like for THEMSELVES, you've gotta narrow the parameters? What do you want out of a tire, low price, long tread life, high dry grip... what?

Replace the tires with another set of OEM S02's. They do the best job of meeting your requirements. I recently bought replacement tires getting another set just like the originals.

I am extremely pleased with the OEM tire for excellent handling. I'd stay with them.

I drive in the wet and cold often and would like better wear. Yoko A520 don't come in 245/45 -16 the equivalent of our oem size. Posters have recommended against RE730 . Others I should consider? My oem's have 18K and are just about done.

OEM SO2s are the only "safe" choice. Everything else is a bit of a gamble.

However, it might be interesting to see what Honda puts on the MY2002 S2000.

The SO3s will be available before I need new ones and they come with a 30 day return feature. They might be just the ticket for me since they'll have better rain handling.
