Any thought on normal tire pressure, I know the book says 32psi, When I ask dealer to check he always seems to return it at 30psi cold.

I run mine at 36 front and back. My dealer's mechanic said no prob and I know others run it up even a little higher. A firmer ride. You be the judge.

I'm runninng 38/36psi front/back. I got the numbers from some guys on the 'racing' forum and so far it feels good. Then again, I haven't experimented with anything else but the factory set 32/32psi - which felt like it wasn't high enough.

A number of us at the track this weekend found that higher pressures may make the car a bit more responsive, but do noticeably reduce grip.

I reduced pressures three times and was faster when the hot pressure was about 38, so cold they were probably 32. Although I was on race compound, I talked with two others that had the same experience with OEM tires. (and a Supra driver than ran even lower pressures).

All of the drivers I talked with had tires with very stiff sidewalls so maybe this is a bit different for those with lighter tires (Toyo, Hoosiers, etc).

Keep in mind that pressure goes up and down with ambient temperature so a tire filled at 40F will be over inflated when it is 80F. And a very cold tire that is pushed hard getting very hot can show more than a six pound rise in pressure.. even a few miles of rolling will bring the temp up a few degrees.

I have come to believe that the recommended 32 pounds (cold) is the best pressure for most conditions.
