Default Correct tire pressure?

Which tire pressure should I follow, the manual's recommended 35psi or the actual tire reading 44psi? Which one and why? Thanks.

You should run the recommended air pressure for the car. The 44 psi is a maximum air pressure allowed for the tire.

Heh, you run 44 psi and hit anything sharp your tire is going to blow vs deflate.
