Thumbs up Tire Wear

I had my car parked on a hill the other day and I noticed that the rear driver's side tire had a lot less tread than the passenger side. Both tires are wearing from the middle out (Yoko ES's). The driver's side is completely bald in the middle while the passenger has about 20-30%. Both tires have plenty outer tread. Any idea of what would cause this? I was running 40psi in the tires for awhile before I brought it down to 32. Could this have caused it or should I have it checked out??

Yep, sounds like overinflation symptoms to me.
