Default S-02 Tire Pressure?

This morning, I had my rear driver's-side tire go out on me on the freeway.

I just picked up some rear S-02's (honda spec) from a friend that were in great shape, w/ less than 1000 miles on em. We actually just swapped rims (he's a fellow s2k owner as well). He told me to check the pressure, but, all I did was visually "okay" them and went on my way.

So the tires looked fine, but obviously they weren't. I checked the pressure on the surviving (passenger side) tire and it was at ~30psi. My question is, the inside doorsill says that the tires should be at 32psi, in which case the tires were pretty much fine, but the tires themselves say 44psi... Which one is it!?

By the way, anyone selling any good tires/rims?

I hope you're having a better day than me!

EDIT: by the way, i wasn't sure where to put this (TIRE rack seemed logical, i'd assume there'd be some rim/tire pros here ) .... if a mod wants to move it, by all means

Whatever the car door says. The tire gives you the max PSI it can take.
