I've had my car for about 5 days now, and it's getting old.

Ahh, so that's why you take them for rides two at a time. To get it out of the way quicker.

If I had earned it, I'd enjoy it...it just becomes a hassle after a little while. The stares that people give are always funny though.

Comes with the territory. Personally, I love the public reaction. It's neat to generate that much lust without having to plop down $90,000 for a used Ferrari.

Plus, I think folks actually enjoy seeing a nice car. It doesn't necessarily HAVE to be envy only. When I see a great Ferrari, for instance, I go on & on about it to friends. It's just the joy of having seen/heard the beast!
So, I figure I'm putting happiness into some folks lives by driving around in my S2000...and, I get the thrill of driving the thing, also. Everybody wins.

It sucks. It is almost always some jackass that wants to know how much you paid for it. Occasionally it's a car enthusiast, which is fine. Or it might be a genuine well-wisher, which is also fine. But usually it's some yahoo.

I got my snow tires put on by a guy in New York that was a real "New York" smartass. While we were looking at my car, some jackass walked by and exclaimed: "THAT'S a Honda!?"

My tire guy's response? "No, it's a Honda."

Still one of my favorite comebacks.

I can't avoid the stares at this point, the S2000 and the PT have both caused accidents from people gawking at the car in heavy traffic resulting in a rear end collision into the car infront of them (luckily in the lane beside my cars). At least very few people are lusting after the MDX, or maybe they just dont realize what it is yet...

While it is both sad and funny when the accidents happened, it looked like no one was hurt each time, except for some seriously bruised egos.

Stupid people tricks are my favorite.
