titanium knobs

Default titanium knobs

do the flame treated colors on the titanium shift knobs eventually wear off? anyone have any experiences/info to share? thanks

depends, on some solid knob, you can't heat it enough to get the perfect blue.

it will turn yellow, brown, golden and almost red hot enough to become blue but home depot torch will not have enough juice for some solid titanium knob.

the egg shell spoon knob will do because it's thin layered.


what out for cheaper knock off knock that use a dye/ink instead of real burning process, those comes off mightly fast because it's just a layer of dye

+1 for the Spoon Knob, i love mine and it looks awesome, plus, its countersunk.. i heard you can always just get it retorched.

No reason why it couldnt be reheated. Think a MAPP gas torch could do the trick? if nothing else a back pack mini Gas/O2 torch would work
