I got a titanium OEM shift knob. It does feel different. In a good way.
To me it fits in the palm of my hand better. It is slightly taller and slightly thinner that the stock one with the leather. I love it. Don't buy one from the dealer. $150.00 isn't worth it. I bought a slightly used one in perfect condition on e-bay for $40. The cons......scratch easy, and damn hot after sitting in the sun.
