So to clarify for the original user, use an escrow service if it's a high dollar amount and you want to be sure. Plain and simple.

My intentions of starting this thread was not to bring up old problems but only to gain info on something that I thought may potentially save my buyer and myself from the problems that are commonly associated with buying/selling stuff over the net. As you can tell by my s2ki age and post count, I'm pretty new around here - though I've been reading posts on here for a couple of years - so I wasn't aware that to some, TITS wasn't neccisarily viewed as a good idea. To add, my intent was to enlist the help of a TITS member PRIOR to a sale, not in recourse to a failed one.

BTW my second post was meant as a joke, just in case someone took offense to it. The last thing I need around here, is to get off on the wrong foot.
