Sent an email asking for maintenance information and the VIN. We'll see what turns up.

Ask him about the options also. He lists "rear air conditioning" and "side air bags"

Must be a custom car, or a ripoff being sold by an idiot.

The guy says it's in perfect condition, clean title and never been in an accident. Has 4,000 miles and he wants 15k. It's in New York, which may account for his blurb about being a "second home toy", but it's still kind of weird his ad doesn't say that it's not in Georgia. Didn't ask for vin last night [insert weed and vodka smilies here], but I'll post it if he gets back to me.

Could be some rich guy just trying to get rid of the car and doesn't care to much about the money. Why don't you call him up and ask for a test drive.
Rich guys don't get rich by not caring too much about the money. This might be a flood car with no visible damage.

Way fishy. If the guy didn't want the hassle and didn't care about losing money, he would have dropped it off at the local CarMax for more than $15k.... there's no way someone would claim they "didn't want the hassle" and then have to bother with posts and phone calls....

I could swear I saw that car on ebay a little while ago, now I wish I saved the auction.

Not to hijack the thread, but what's up with Suzuka owners barely driving their cars? The "too good to be true" car in this thread only has 3514 miles, and when I was looking for the old auction, I came up with this:

2003 Suzuka 2200 Miles

2003 Suzuka 2248 Miles

2002 Suzuka 5809 Miles

I got my 2003 a little while ago with 3400 Miles.

What gives???

Don't know what the deal is with this and why it's so underpriced, but heres the vin if anyone wants to check it out through carfax or something :JHMAP11412T009278. The guy didn't seem inbred or otherwise retarded in the emails, so it's hard to tell what's up. Hope someone here can snag it if the guys for real.
