Too many S2000s?
what i meant by perfect homes is that you wash regularly, you have the maintainance done on time without fail. they are usually sheltered pretty well and don't see too much inclement weather. In other words.......
Drive it in rain, hail, salt and snow.
Wash it,and it
My s2000 was the 2nd one on the island when I first bought it. Though there are a few more that's here on the island, it's still rare to see one on the road. To the best of my knowledge, there are 2-silvers, 2- blacks, 3-yellows, 1-white, 1-sebring silver, and 1-red on the island. I still see more boxsters then s2000's and more frequently. I also still get raves on my car with people saying that mine was the first that they seen here. Yesterday, there were even people taking pictures of my car when they were passing by while my car was parked.
in australia the initial run was about 400 in '99, then it was reduced to about 250 in '00. this is the numbers i got to see fromthe honda aust sales figures at myu dealers computer.
anyway, mine is the only yellow in my town- fairly small about 800k people, 6th largest city in australia, there is only about 4 or 5 other s2k in my town. so it is fairly rare, then again boxsters are rare as well. what we do see a lot of is holden hsvs, see mingsters thread on this....

most people i know can't drive stick and don't want to - that automatically eliminates a lot of drivers. you're probably just seeing the same cars over and over again. I once saw the same s2k three times in a day.

In one year alone, there are 5000 (right?) S2000 imported to the US. That is a lot more than the 4 years combined they imported the ITRs to the US. If you don't see many S2000, imagine the ITRs, which makes me a very proud owner of one.
