I live in Waikiki and could go for weeks, even months without seeing a stook as recent as 6 months ago. Now I'll see one about once or twice a week. I still haven't seen one with any visible mods on it (exhaust, rims, body kit, etc...). I know I can't possibly see them all (should be about 50 in this state) but it IS an island here...

i love see'n S2K all the time, cause not only is an awesome car, but that means when you find one on the road, you can pace each other and personaly i love pacing the same cat that mine drivin its fun.

Pure speculation, but if I went on population ratios from Oahu to the other islands, I'd guess around 5 or so among the outer islands. I know of at least one Big Island resident who bought it from a dealership on Oahu and shipped it there.

While it is nice to have an exclusive car there arn't enough aftermarket products until there is a large enough audience.
There was hardly any upgrades 2 years ago and now you can upgrade about anything.
