Too short to drive an S?`
I'm trying to get my girlfriend to fully enjoy driving our S2000 (i.e. driving a stick shift). She's complaining that her left foot barely reaches the clutch pedal. I have yet to actually look at how far she has to strech though. I'm 5'4" and I don't have any problem. I don't even have to pull the seat ALL the way forward. Solutions I've figured out so far as....
1) Have her wear thicker soled shoes (but not high-heeled).
2) Remove the seats and brackets. Relocate the brackets 3 inches forward. Reinstall seats.
3) Remove the seats and brackets. Install aftermarket seats and brackets.
4) Put a pillow or something behind her back (which defeats the purpose of having nice S2000 seats)
5) ???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My wife is 5' even and she doesn't have any problem driving the S. She has the seat back one click from full forward and gets the clutch to the floor. Could she be a little afraid
of driving your S or short legs?

2 sounds viable.
As for number 5, maybe the dealership can modify the pedals. Or an aftermarket tuner shop can put in different pedals that reach farther forward.
I dont know how you guys let your girlfriends drive your S's. I was thinking about teaching my girl to drive it, and then I thought...if she got into a bad accident, there goes the 2 most important things to me (besides my family). If she got into an accident, and she wasnt hurt, but the car was totaled...I dont know how I would react. I dont know. I guess I am just not ready to let my girlfriend drive the S yet.

My girlfriend is 5'1" also and has zero problems driving the S. She could easily move the seat further up if she wanted to.
It just doesn't sound like your GF really wants to drive the S. I wouldn't really blame her, car's a bit intimidating with all the funny noises it makes.

you could probably have the clutch pedal extended or something to engage sooner??
j/k. Is she hot?
