Too short to drive an S?`
Adjust the clutch engagement point. Mine is almost at the very top, I barely need to push the clutch in to shift. Make sure the seat is set to a upright position like straight up. It may not be as comfortable but it will make you a bit closer.
If you do decide to move things around, be sure that she is far enough away from the steering wheel. If you are too close, the detonation of the airbags can seriously injure anybody whom is too close.

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions...I was planning on changing the seats and pedals as it is, so I'll definitely look into various kinds and see if I can find something that can help with her situation as well. If not, I'll adjust the pedals as some of you have mentioned.
I hope it didn't across as me forcing her to drive this...She was the one who intially wanted a sports car. (I posted a while back that she was interested in either the Lotus Elise or the S2K)
Anyhow, she enjoys driving it but I hope she will enjoy driving it more when she is more comfortable.
Also, I think she's just used to my Ford Focus SVT (and she drives a truck) so she's just not used to being so low to the ground...The Focus does feel like an SUV (referring to seating height) compared to the Honda.

My wife is 5'. I'm 5' 7". She can pull the seat forward, but she has some problems looking through the blind spot, even with the top down. I had a bunch of extra product laying around from a company I used to work at - we ended up using this: http://www.kensington.com/html/1258.html when she drives. It is 2" high, but the foam has a little "give" to it. It has a non-skid surface so it doesn't slide around when she's in the seat. It stows away nicely behind the passenger seat when I'm driving.

THIS THREAD IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICS!!!
To properly assess the situation of course
If pics aren't available maybe her standard measurements (arms, legs, etc...) Her cup size may not be a bad idea either so we can properly calculate the risk of air bag deployment, you know fight fire with fire HAHA j/k!!

Yes, my gf is 5'1" and she hasn't been able to get out of first successfully yet.... I have an ACT street/race setup, and as a result, coming out of the shift, her knee bounces up and hits her chin
3 is impossible, so thats out. The seats are mounted on raised "bumps"
They dont fit without using them...the rails hit the bumps if ths done.
You could do some fancy bracketry to get it to work, but safety wise (if god forbid you get into an accident) they would be a no no. Just my .02

What's with all the guys dating short girls? Stop dating girls that are still in junior high and you won't have these kinds of problems.
Just kidding, of course.

...but my gf finished jr high about 3 months ago...
... seriously ... (yes, she's legal
), she really wants to drive the S, she's even considering getting one herself. She loves everything about the car, except that she can't drive it, which we both find highly frustrating. She drives her dad's 5-speed Dinan M3 just fine.
So, any suggestions/opinions?
