Default Tools in the trunk

My wife, E.W.A., thinks that I am neurotic because aside from the normal Honda tools and jack I always carry the following in my trunk:

1 18" 1/2" Drive Breaker Bar
1 25lb to 250lb Torque wrench 3/8" Drive
1 19mm Deep Socket 3/8" Drive
1 1/2" to 3/8" Adaptor
1 Set of Metric Sockets 3/8" Drive 10mm to 19mm
1 Flat Screwdriver
1 Phillips Screwdriver
1 Plier
1 Assorted fuses
1 Flashlight
1 Can Fix a Flat

She thinks that I can probably rebuild the car with all of the tools. I think I should carry them just in case, afterall, you never know.

What do you think? What tools do you carry?

All I carry is a tire guage and for the emergency that might arise, a cell phone.
---I even took my spare out!

Wow, you're brave. I'd be afraid to drive around without my spare.

I used to carry a bat in my trunk. Can that be used as a tool? I do carry jumper cables, a lug wrench, zaino detail spray with cloth as well as a Micro Fiber towel.

I don't carry any tools in my S2000, save what the car came with. A cell phone is all I need. Now, my 88 Merkur on the other hand.....

I have a "winter kit" which I have assembled for both my Merkur and my Tundra. Both the Tundra and Merkur are used year round, in inclement weather, and one of them is less reliable than the other (guess which )

The kit includes:

Socket set (60 piece pouch)
Asst screwdrivers
Pliers (needlenose and regular grip)
Exacto knife
Gloves
Flares
Collapsable shovel
Flashlight
Candle
Waterproof matches
Lighter
Non persihable candy bars
Tow rope
First aid kit
Fuses
String
Insulated blanket (mini fold up version)
Jumper cables
Electrical tape
Spare hose clamps.

...Can't remember anything else at the moment, but it's all there!

Car cover, California duster, and a towel. I've driven close to 400,000 miles in 3 different Hondas and have yet to be left stranded(probably jinxing myself with this post). Guess I've got some blind confidence in Hondas and their ability to get me back home everytime. But I am fully prepared for the day I do breakdown......comfortable shoes.

No spare, no jack, no tire iron. In fact none of the factory tools but the tow hook adaptor for getting it on a flatbed, my AAA card, and a cell phone.

Never needed any of the above, however!
