Kind of interesting - the Miata, Z4 and 350Z didn't make the cut.

I'm not surprised the 350z didn't, that thing is a pig.

Miata is kind of a shocker, z4 is a bit surprising as well.

Nor the Z Roadster, Pontiac G6, Lexus SC, Volvo C70 drop top, or the Jeep Wrangler.

On the other hand I'm not sure its a good thing to be on a list that includes the Chrysler Sebring.

The absence of the Miata is probably the most surprising. Looks like the first 10 drop-tops the author could think of were included.

And what's that about the CR having "quicker gearing" than everyday S's?

Still.....its always nice to read good press on the S.

exactly what i was thinking. and sure the S soars to 7800 RPM--it goes a bit more too. guess they don't really know what they're talking about.

V6 Mustang and the C. Dion Sebring made the list? Yeah, automatic discredification. I'd say the Z4/M-roadster, Elise (though, it's a partial drop top), and MX5 would've made my list. Also, did anyone else notice that there were 9 cars? Unless they counted the Sky/Solstice as two.

Wow, that's a bit harsh.
