Default Top down with long hair

For any of the ladies here or any guys with long hair like me, how do you deal with the wind with the top down? I found from my time with an E30 vert that a hair tie just doesn't cut it for me and I have no intention of cutting my hair any time soon. So, what do you do? I've thought just bringing a brush along might work but... it seems kind of weird.

If your a guy, cut your hair?

I use a hair tie with no problems. Also use a ball cap to limit glare on the eyes. After being blown around on a ride, I take a pair of scissors and trim off what ever hair is flying wild from under the hat.

The girls. who ride in my car, always put the windows up when the wind gets strong. I also have Rick's 7/8 wind deflector. It shows a minor difference.

What if you hairspray your hair? Wax? I was always curious what you guys do about it. I guess it'll be one of the sacrifices of owning a s2000.

When I was married, my wife would always keep a "scrunchie" in the car...I guess that is a hair tie. She would wrap her waist length hair into a ball and hold it in place with the scrunchie or a hair pin. It seemed to work really well.
