Top down with long hair

A baseball cap and a hair tie works great. Sometimes for long trip I'll get my wife to braid it.

A small comb, a small hair brush, and some spare hair ties (among other things like spare sunglasses, stick sunblock, and a spare ball cap) are handy things to keep in the cabin for impromptu guest riders.

I used to have long hair. Cut it about 2 months before getting the S (wasnt even considering an S at the time). It was frustrating enough using a hairtie and dealing with a sunroof. I cant fathom trying to cope with top-down.
the g/f keeps a few hairties or scrunchies in the car at all times in case she forgets to bring one with her. They do ok, but she still gets medusa hair

I had really long hair for about the first 2 weeks of owning this car (I've only had it for about 2 months).
I cut 16" off and donated it to Locks of Love. I just couldn't deal with it slapping me in the face with the top down, and I look funny in hats.
Hats are the ONLY way to keep it up. Putting it in a pony tail won't work...there will always be some that gets out and flaps around.
Good luck!
