I would like to get a consensus, if i may, on what is the top up/down temperature threshold. I'm talkin' absolute minimum temperature wearing a light sweater and pants before the top comes up. My stook should be here within the next week or so and i would like an idea of how low-I-can-go before the winter chill hits big time!

You can go pretty low with the top down, windows up and the temp cranked with the air set on the little top down setting.

If it isnt raining my top is down. I can always wear warmer clothes and crank the heater.

I cannot see there being an specific temperature recommendation as an answer to this question.

It really depends on what you are willing to tolerate. The cabin heater mode in this car is very efficient.

If I lived in the MD/DC area, I would seriously consider and start planning a trip to Florida over the upcoming Winter.

Dick,

I didn't even think about upper limits, thanks! 40 isn't too bad, that should get me through most of December.

Like SilverSurfer and Tedster, top down no matter the temp as long as rain drops don't fall on my head!

With Miata, I used to have a cap with folding down ear protectors for top down cold times. Don't know where that cap is now, and that probably is good .
