It is entertaining but don't take the track times to seriously. The difference in times is pretty negligble if you ask me. The S2000 lost, who cares. I'm not trading mine in.

I love that show and that video is spot on...notice the bulge in his pocket, that's the 6,000 pounds he saved. i wish the dry track would have been used as well...close enough in the outcome to merrit the honda being the over all winner in my book.

shouldn't they test a 2004 or newer?

The show was aired on November 2nd, 2003 ... but it probably was filmed when the 2003 was still the newest car. Also, in the UK where Top Gear is filmed, the 2004s still use the F20C with the 9K redline (I wish they gave us that choice in the US), so there really isnt a huge difference, although I guess the suspension changes would have made a difference and the RE050s...

Cool, I never saw that. The conditions didn't look fair for any of the cars, they really should have tried to do dry runs. In any case, I'm surprised they didn't compare gearboxes aside from the number of gears; I think we know who would have won.

Thank you for the link! I have been searching for a Top Gear segment with the S2000 involved. If there are anymore out there from Top Gear, please post them up.

I just knew Clarkson would be the smart one among those three cars.
