Top gear Battle!
Dam that Z4 is fugly.
The rain really makes for a sh!tty run (for all 3 cars). If the S had stock S-02s, I'm suprised he stayed on the track at all. I've ran those for 4 years now...best tire you can buy for dry traction/performance...in the rain, you better have your life insurance premiums paid up.

GOOD SHOW! Problem is with us not having the fastest time, is , why did they have to do it in the rain, for God's sake? Tires make a lot of difference, especially in the rain, and those that come stock on the S2k were never designed for racing in the rain. Had we had a proper set of tires for this match, we would have wiped their a**.
Thanks,
Richard

Colin:
Actually, no. I was there a couple of years back in the summer and no rain! Honda did not get with some tire maker and design tires for our car that are good in the rain (like Porsche and BMW did). but rather designed tires that are only optimum in the dry --- leaving us who want to "run in the rain" also to find our own tires for this. (Controversial subject -- donning flame proof suit). Thus, we were at a disadvantage from the "get-go."
Thanks,
Richard

Carpe diem:
Perhaps it is because the car IS ugly. Chris Bangle contrived some creases in the body that make no sense. I must confess I've not driven a Z4. But I did drive a number of late model Z3s as my adult daughter wanted one (for reasons I'll never understand.) She bought one, at a good price, but only after my report that it was a good example of the marque ---- it handled like a rubber band.
Thanks,
Richard
