Default Top-Hoist

Anyone using or have experience with http://www.top-hoist.com/Products.html

Looking for a hoist. Concerned about impact of bar on weatherstripping and how hooks attach at the rear.

Thanks.

That is ridiculous for the price. Literally $30 in Home Depot parts.

I like G's setup. Here's what I have had for the last eight years:

I picked up the electric hoist from Harbor Freight. It works well, but I need to modify the PVC tubes a little since it takes a little time to get them in place. This was a lot cheaper than Top-Hoist.com. The one-hand remote control makes it easy to install or remove the top without any help.

Building it yourself it far cheaper - I am in mine for under $100 - would have been cheaper if I did not change several parts.
