Lessee, what is the rear lift at 150?

 

160mph highway got there ok all motor, but on boost 165 came realy fast lol after 150 all motor u have to have some balls to get it to 160 it took me like 1 min, well it felt that long (good times)

 

My Garmin Nuvi 650 recorded a max speed of 147mph. On the cluster, it was indicated at 149mph. Unfortunately, my eyes were peeled for cops so I didn't really look to see how many rpms I had left.

This is an 07 AP2. It got there pretty easy too, top end of 5th gear is very powerful, switch to 6th and you're in the 140's no problem.

 

I've never had the balls to go max out, mainly because it's a convertible and I see there's no point in going that fast. Anyone who has the guts to go pass 120mph get my respect

Thats whats funny about this car. 1st, 2nd and 3rd are great gears. 4th feels like nothing compared to the first 3...then you shift into 5th. Yeah, 5th gear in VTEC is a blast!

 

I saw a video on youtube that showed a guy taking his S to 167 mph. IDK if it was turbo/superchgd or anything, but I do know that above 130 you'd better have a nice, smooth road. I was messing around on a deserted road and went through what had previously been an imperceptible dip. Well, not quite imperceptible, but at 135 it felt like I'd just driven off a loading dock. It scared the bejeezus out of me and I brought it back down to reasonable speeds. Good thing this happened, too, as 20 minutes later I got served for speeding, sixteen over. I deserved a ticket, I admit, but it did suck. I'll save my uber-high speed driving for the spring when I go back to Putnam Park, but I won't be seeing THAT much speed, as the front straight is only a 1/2 mile long, and corner exit speed entering the straight will probably be in the 60-70 range. I can't wait!

 

I've run an AP2 to 9k.............missing a shift

 

I've been to 150mph in the S top up.I think i had about 300rpm left, but she pulled hard up to 150mph.if i had taller gears i think i would've reached 180mph no problem. btw i was going WOT till 150mph.

 

I did 156 but I let off the car seemed "loose" I need a wang or something...
