Anyone have a list of the top speeds by each gear for a stock s2000?

 

I believe it's about 30, 60, 90 in the first 3 gears, don't know beyond that.

 

if you do a search on the EXACT title of your question, you'll see the answers posted many a times

 

Based on my math and previous posts, I believe this to be the VTEC speed and top speed for each gear.

GEAR VTECH TOP
1st 29mph 43mph
2nd 43mph 66mph
3rd 60mph 90mph
4th 77mph 116mph
5th 93mph 139mph
6th 111mph 166mph

 

166 mph would be correct according to 9200 rpm in 6th: however, drag precludes this I would imagine.

 

Dean29 got it spot on. Except that the 2nd gear VTEC listed is about 1mph too low .. .it's more like 44mph. Changing from 1st to 2nd at redline drops the revs to 5.9k.

Also, 166mph is correct for the 6th gear at 9k revs ... not 9.2k. At 9.2k the theoretical speed would be 170mph. Though, as lvs2k mantioned - that speed is not reachable unless you got some serious tail wind and going down the hill.
