top up or down?
when you are gonna store your car for the winter is it better to leave the top up or down? im assuming if its down its in a safe dry area where gross bugs wont get in there and it wont get dirty.
i noticed when i took off the hard top today for the first time in a few months the top didnt want to go all the way up as if the fabric was constricted or somehow tightened. i want to keep the top nice and tight. is it better to leave it up or down for long periods of time?

Common sense applies. Top up when storing.

top up windows up or down?
Coat all your rubber seals and moldings with Shin-etsu grease to prevent cracking and the seals rotting onto the glass.

see thats my point...
and assuming it's in a safe dry place...theres nothing wrong with that. its a :ground rule" for this scenario. dont like it, fine go store yours under a rain gutter.
if its going to be storred whats really best? top up to me seems like a bad idea in that it will keep the material stretched out for a long time making it loose where as down its not under tension and will remain tighter longer.
