i almost always have my boot on so i would have to pull over and stop. i would never get out of the car at an intersection to put the boot on. everyone would be staring at me and i would feel werid knowing that every single car around me is watcing me do this.

I have never used the boot, too much of a pain and a waste of time, I also like having the ability to go topless at any moment.

Last year my car was not in a garage for a few months, I would wake up and it would be wet from the dew, I would drive off to work and at the slowest light half way there, after most of the dew had rolled off I would put the top down.

I may have made someone wait all of one or two seconds once or twice, no big deal to me....

It takes 6 seconds to drop the top. If you can't get the top down before the light changes, do you have trouble chewing gum and VTEC'ing?

I know I got a good 30 seconds from when the light turns red until it turns green to put the top down. I love to see my girlfriend get all excited telling me to put the top down, she likes to show off my car more than I do. Whenever she sees other girls at a intersection, she tells me to put it down!!
I often put it down at a intersection when I see a good stretch a road coming up ahead. I wouldn't do it though if I knew the light was going to turn red in a second..

I usually only drop the top if the light just changed, so I never had this problem. And I usually only put the top up when I am driving anyway. I have already made up my mind about dirving with the top up or down by the time I have turned on the car. However, I usually raise the top when I am driving because my phone rings and I can't hear or it starts raining etc.

As long as the light the other direction hasn't turned yellow yet, there's plenty of time. Usually the top is down before I leave, but sometimes I'm just in too big a hurry, so I put it down at the next light.
