Default Topgear s2000 cr

Why hasnt topgear done a powerlap w/ the new s2000 cr yet?
currently they have the normal s2000 close to the bottom of the list at 140th out of 149!

come on the s2000 can do better than that!!

any predictions as to where the CR would fall out on the list? here is the list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_Laps#Power_Laps

Give the man a cigar!

Also, note the 'Very wet' applied to the record. Now look just a few places further up, where a Ferrari 575 only managed 2 seconds better in the same conditions. The S is NOT a wet weather car, and if it was on semi-summer stockers (tires), then it's really quite logical.

Also, when the S was tested, they used to deliberately wet the track. After I think the 3rd series, they stopped doing this.

Still disappointed? The only car that has passed me when I cared since I owned my S was a 911, and a boxter S was stuck on my tail one time, couldn't shake him, but he couldn't overtake either. I RAPED a Z4 the other day, that was a nice scalp. oooh, just remembered... got my ass handed to me the other day by a VX220 turbo, but hey, I wasn't expecting to win that one. lol.

And the time was listed as the track being VERY wet. You could probably take off a good 7 seconds from that time and then see where it would be placed. Next to a DB7 GT. It might be a tad slower or then again a tad faster than just 7 seconds if a completely dry track.

Was just reading about TopGear and I guess they only give 4 seconds for wet laps, didn't specify very wet. So maybe 7 seconds is too generous? Only way to tell is to get the damn Stig back into a nisen and round the track in the dry.

Not worth the time. CR probably has 1-1.5 sec over a base S2k

Vicki Butler Henderson has an S2000. That girl knows what a good car is. Ex touring car driver.

Sorry for off topic, but spectacle... did you fly an F117A Nighthawk?

If so, then...

If someone wants to buy me some RA1's, I can semi-equally compare my old AP1 times with my new CR times around my local track. Then we can use ricer-math to take a guess at what the time difference would be . I'm no Stig, but I am consistent (read: I've hit a plateau).
