I had mine up to around 140 once and lets just say that after that experience I have no desire to go that fast in this small wheel base car anymore. The rear gets very light at high speeds...(115-120+)
Mind you I'm on coilovers, that are corner balanced with a professional alignment, and I run larger 17" rims and larger than stock Ultra high performance summer tires.
I could only imagine how stupid 160 would feel in this car. (I have zero desire to actually try this)

i doubt that the 160 reading on the speedo was actually 160mph.

According to my speedometer, when I still had a F20 motor I hit 165. That was with AEM EMS. I have seen a video of a s/c'd guy hit 170mph on a long stretch of interstate.

Not gonna lie its a hell of a rush, but it can easily be disastrous (legally or health wise).

167 mph and that was flashing in the red. Had J's aero which prevented lift in the rear as I experienced that on a track. This was also before I had kids which I look back now and think how stupid I was....

It was on a closed old road course just me and myself.

I just wanted to see where the s2k toped out at

I had my hondata flashpro hooked up also and it read 159

But I remembered I put my rev limiter at 8300 for tuning purpose and have enough room to work with incase of detonation

So the car has alot left in it but I'm ok don't really want to go that fast in a s2k again scary as hell but I'm 20 young and dumb lol

Toss in some 3.90 gears if you want more.

^ If the car is bolt on or near stock it will accel slower so its not worth it.

I would go 3.90 if I was making real good power
