My top speed is 138 on a basically stock ap1. I drive too fast and still have not been stopped once by a cop for any reason (knock on wood). But i have only had my license for only a year and half and the S for a little over 5 months.

this is what happens when parents buy their kids sports cars. when you **** up and lose control i hope, for your sake and everyone else on the road, you end up in a lake

I hope the parents have life insurance. I've hit 182 on my r1 on a runway. never wanted to top out the car its definately not built for that kind of speed.

already got one above me ^^^and Matt you probably will ignore everything im about to say but i am young and want to go fast but i love the car too much to reck it (every time it rains i drive home right away and wipe it down) and i am a pretty damn good driver. I have avoided about 4 accidents from being an aware and knowledgeable driver. Don't even reply to this cause i know you are going to say i'm just a typical stupid teenager that doesn't care about anyone but myself.
Also fyi i paid for the car myself and make payments because i have a job and work for my money buddy.

hey.. i understand. i'm currently 21 and was 20 when i got my S. i loved that car too much to hit a skunk and cause $900 in damage and smell removal but guess what... it happened. i'm not flaming you. just slow down so you don't have to learn your lesson the hard way. i'm thankful everyday that it was only a skunk and not someones kid.
Shit does happen sometimes, shit that has absolutely nothing to do with driving ability...or the lack of. Like for instance skunks, deer, rabbits, opposums, small child, tubby child, fat ass child, fat ass daddy of fat ass child (which btw will probably hurt your car also, and since you love it, I would dodge fat daddy like MY life depended on it). Not flaming but just saying...

Yeah i've already had something like that. A hit and run for $800 and since my deductible is 1000 i had to pay out of pocket for it, so i got that instead of an exhaust. I have been taking it easier cause the way ive been driving i have just been getting horrible mpg and i was getting tired of wasting all that money on gas.
And before the S i had an 03 passat 1.8t since the day i got my license.
