Smile Tore my softtop!

It tore when I was opening the top... I believe I left the latch unhooked and it got caught somewhere. I do have a factory warranty but i do not know if its gonna be covered. I have had the car for less than a year and its a 07. Only about 9500 miles. Does anyone know if the dealer whould do anything???? Any suggestions????

I would try getting it covered under warranty... it wouldn't hurt.

It should be covered under warranty. You might have to hassle them a bit.

RTFM. Sounds like someone skipped step 5 in the instructions for lowering the top.

I hope the dealer will 'goodwill' the repair for you.

They may do something. I did that when I got my car and put 2 holes in the roof. I took it to a local upholstery shop and had it repaired for $50. 3 years later repair still looks good.
