I have a 2001 S2000, basically stock. The car pulls to the left on acceleration and to the right on deceleration. Very squirrely to drive in a straight line.

Have had the car aligned twice, yet the problem is not resolved. The car was in a minor accident 18 months ago, but drove fine until 2 months ago.

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Definately check your tire pressures. The S is VERY sensitive to tire pressure.

I would have it put on a frame machine and see if the frame is bent. Check tire pressure first because its free, haha but if that does not help would get the frame checked. Let us know.......... peace

The S2k does not torque steer.

 

Another question for the OP. Are all your tires the same type and mileage? A difference in tread depth from right to left could cause problems as the diameters would be different.

Also, are you absolutely sure that the tires and wheels are in the correct places after the wreck? Rear tires on rear wheels and front tires on front wheels and all in the proper location?

 

Torque steer is something found in front wheel drive cars where the drive wheels are the steering wheels.

 

torque steer is usually found on fwd cars.

like others have said...check your tire pressure. or it can simply be tramlining on uneven roads.
