Default touring in the s2k tip

It occurred to me that if im out on a road trip and have a trunk full of luggage, and get a flat tire. where do I put the flat tire? so where can I find a rack for my s2k? should I carry some of that flat tire inflator stuff in a can? and will a luggage rack support a wheel?. thanks.

I had this happen recently. I put my luggage in the passenger seat and put the tire in the trunk.

Me too, except I was travelling with my wife.

If you spot a pissed-off German girl hitchhiking PCH, she answers to "Suzie."

It was funny. I was cuising on I-84 about 80-85 mph and the car was weaving all over the road so I knew it was the tire. I pulled over thinking to myself "Ill just throw some air in the tire and get it plugged." The entire sidewall was ripped out of the tire. I mean huge chunks of the tire were missing. It didnt damage the rim though but it took about 5 hours for Goodyear to find the right size tire and get it to the tire store where I was. This was in Hartford, CT. I got the Fuzions which is what I wanted since Im cheap.

Oh so Im beating on the tire trying to get it to fit in the trunk, I didnt know you had to take the tools out to get it to fit. Anyway I got it in there. When I took it out there was a double handful of rubber "shavings" in the trunk.
