From the way you've described the DBW, is the DBW suppose to correctly rev match on a downshift for us?
I think he means that its pretty natural feeling that the drive by wire is so accurate.

another thing.. i was originally going to sell my 06 rims, and put my old Enkeis back on... but after i lowered my 06 last night (its stock in that pic) these 06 rims have REALLY grown on me... and i think ive decided to keep them..
Hey are you planning on selling? Could you post a picture? Sizes, offset, tires etc would be great. Thanks.

Uh.....NO.

Think about what your saying and you'll realize it doesn't make sense.

DBW is the electronic input method of the throttle which replaces the current actual wire and it's based on YOUR physical inputs. It will NOT "Rev-match" for you automatically when you downshift.

He's saying that when he blips the throttle to do the rev-match, there is not a delay that he can detect. This is a good thing and was one of my initial concerns.

I'm really tempted to do the same (trade-in my 00). What color is your interior? Do they have the red/black combo available for GPW?

Your car looks good. I like the 06 rims. You do, however, need a front lip.

Right now the GPW comes with all black interior, which i love... and i believe next year black / red will be an option.

i took quite a few testdrives on an 06 and i am sold that it's a lot better in my opinion than my ap1. I will be making the trade very soon as well. People complain that the seats dont look as good as the older ones but everyone that has sat on them praises them on the material and comfort, not to mention how they hug you snug during cornering. I couldnt notice the dbw at all and the extra torque makes it a lot funner to drive than my ap1. I will miss the 9k, but the improvements made on the 06 are much more significant and i can justify losing the 9k for them. Good choice and i'll be joining the club soon.
