I was seriously contemplating the 04 Acura TL (great shifter), but didn't like the steering feel and to some extent the FWD dynamics. Now, if Honda/Acura made a RWD/AWD 4-door sports sedan with a 6 spd, I'd be looking hard at it!
Great choice. Earlier this year I was looking at the G35 and the 3-Series. The G35 performs pretty well, but like sonusfaber said, the interior is very cheap. So much so, that even though the performance was nice, I had to turn it down because the plastic looked like a two-year old had spray painted it.
If you think people who buy a BMW are buying it for the name, you're right. Because with the BWM logo, comes the full maintainence-free warranty along with the perfect blend of luxury and sportiness. S2000 is a raw driver's car. If you want a full featured roadster, the Z3 or Z4 are perfect choices. Lined self-tonneau, self-locking top? Come on, you know you'd love something like that
