I have a MY03 car with 4600 miles on the clock. In the last month or so, I've noticed a whining sound coming from the tranny or clutch area when the car is started from cold. Pushing the clutch in stops the noise. Let it out, and it's back. Tonight, I noticed the noise is somewhat there even after the car is warmed up.

I tend to like the array of mechanical noises the car makes, but this one seems strange. Anyone else experience this or know what it is? I looked in the Library and read through the Forums, but didn't see anything that seemed identical. Thanks in advance for the help.
