Default Transmission Fluid Change Does Make A Difference!

I was over at Honda today to get my Mobil1 oil change plus the differencial and the tranny. I can tell you first hand that the transmission shifts a lot smoother now. Definately so in fact. With 19,450 miles on the clock, this was the first transmission fluid change. I've had the car 9 months now and the mileage is piling up. This is my daily driver, but I can tell you that I haven't had ONE thing wrong with this car since I bought it. I consider myself lucky to work and have fun at the same time.

i did mine at only 3500 miles and even though i did it early(to get rid of the breakin contaminents), it made a big difference.

I change my transmission and differential fluid at every other oil change. . . Though it may seem like overkill, my shifter is never notchy and always smooth.

ok...here's a question. tons of people use gm syncromesh in b series trannys, works wonders on the b series cable and hydro trannys. many people, like myself...swear by it, but how well does it work in the f20c tranny? would u guys even recommend it? ever done?

I just changed mine and it feels different for sure. The old fluid has only been in there for 6 months appears clean but I am sure has sheared and broken down. If you want the best results just change it every other oil change.

Good thread, just purchased my s2000. Think I'll go with the every other oil change plan.
