Tree sap on the convertible top, HELP!
FORGET EVERYTHING YOU JUST READ!
I have an 02 sebring silver/blk and the same exact thing happened to me. Bigtime- had tree sap all over the thing. I'm friendly with the folks at my local honda dealer, so I dropped by and asked them for some help. They tried, but couldn't get the stuff off. I thought I was SOL, but then I found a product that really works. BLUE CORAL CONVERTIBLE TOP CLEANER. This is a purpose-specific product made specifically for black vinyl convertible tops like we have. Spray the stuff on, wait 10 seconds, then scrub gently with a bristled nylon brush (like the kin for doing dishes)... you may need to have a go on it like 5 different applications- but after each application I hosed it down with water, then reapplied, brushed, ...etc.
WORKED LIKE A CHAMP, AND MY TOP LOOKS BRAND NEW AGAIN.
This product is $5 at PEPBOYS.
Hope this was helpful. Oh, and incidentally, I am a big 303 fan- I love their protectant, but that cleaner didn't do crap on the tree sap on my top...

What do you think?
